1. Scope of Services
Drift provides visa assistance through two service options:
Self-Service: Users complete their applications independently using our tools and guidance.
Lawyer-Assisted Service: Users work with an independent lawyer who verifies the accuracy of their visa application before submission.
2. Responsibility for Application Accuracy
Self-Service Users: Users are fully responsible for the accuracy and completeness of their application. Drift does not verify or correct user-submitted information.
Lawyer-Assisted Users: If a user chooses the lawyer-assisted track, the lawyer assumes responsibility for the accuracy of the application. The lawyer will review and confirm compliance with German visa requirements.
3. Visa Denials & Free Reapplication Policy
If a visa application is denied, Drift will reapply once for free under the same service track originally chosen.
This guarantee does not cover denials due to user-provided false information, missing documents, or factors outside of Drift's or the lawyer’s control (e.g., changes in immigration policies, insufficient financial proof, or prior immigration violations).
4. No Guarantee of Visa Approval
Drift assists with visa applications but does not guarantee approval. The decision rests solely with the relevant German government agencies (e.g., Ausländerbehörde, embassies, or consulates).
5. Limitation of Liability
Drift is not liable for:
Self-Service Users: Any errors, omissions, or application rejections due to user-provided information.
Lawyer-Assisted Users: The lawyer assumes responsibility for the accuracy of the application, but legal decisions remain at the discretion of German authorities.
Any delays or rejections caused by government policies or external factors beyond our control.
6. Third-Party Services & Links
Drift may contain links to third-party websites or services, including legal professionals. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for external sites or the services they provide. Users engage with third parties at their own risk.
7. Data Protection & GDPR Compliance

Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle personal data, including user rights regarding data access, correction, and deletion.
